We are looking for a highly motivated team player for hardware board design, responsible for all development aspects and phases of designing products from initial architecture to mass production.  Must have experience with HW DVT and verification testing, high speed board design and layout, in digital and analog circuit design, and have knowledge in power supplies (LDO, buck/boost etc.) design and layout.  Experience with VHDL/VERILOG and in optical networking design is a plus.  Requires BSc EE and 6+ years experience in board design.   Please send CV via email to careers@dustphotonics.com.

 

We are looking for a production engineer to participate in the production of advanced optical communication devices, with relocation to for a minimum of 2 years to Bangkok, Thailand, after a period of 6 months training in Israel.  This person will develop, analyze and troubleshoot production processes (both technical repair and support of the operation) using engineering tools, methods and techniques to reengineer processes to optimize product flow, reduce variation, streamline operations and support cost cutting initiatives. Will provide support to production operations in the areas of equipment, layout, tooling, fixtures, and machines and ensure processes conform to Lean Production practices by evaluating new and existing processes and implementing solutions to improve productivity and quality.  

This person will implement continuous improvements and assist with process changes, and manage all aspects of operations including quality, materials and maintenance.  This role is responsible for rapid changeover activities including principles, target setting, and leading successful efforts reducing changeover time to achieve challenging objectives, as well as training and monitoring production personnel on proper production techniques and policies.

Must be a highly motivated self-learner with excellent written and verbal English.  Must be willing to relocate for a minimum period of 2 years to Bangkok, Thailand.  Must have axcellent collaborative skills, working with different teams to resolve product and process problems. Must have good knowledge in statistical tools and data analysis and familiarity with optical and electrical test methods and test equipment.  Must have experience in the development and production of opto-electronics devices and an Electrical / Mechanical / Chemical (or similar) Engineering graduate from known university with a 85+ grade average.  Please send resume to careers@dustphotonics.com.

We are actively seeking a Process Development Engineer to design and develop a photonic packaging and microelectronic solutions for DustPhotonics  optical communication products. Responsibilities include the development of an electro-optical module, including oversight of optical/mechanical design and developing the assembly process.  You will be controlling all aspects of process from proto-build until transfer to Production/NPI.  This is an opportunity to develop high-end optical packages and assembly process of optical and micro-electronic products for next generation Data Center markets. 

Responsible for optimizing designs, process and methods for mass production and developing assembly process for optical component which includes passive and active alignment within optical performance specifications.  Requires previous experience in packaging lasers, photodiodes and other active optical components with 5+ years of experience  and “hands on” knowledge of optical components, packaging equipment and materials (wirebonding, P&P, epoxy, etc.) and 5+ years of design electronic and optoelectronic packaging and products from prototyping to HVM.  Must have experience in process development and transfer to production methods such as DOEs etc, and 2+ years of experience of failure analysis methods  (such X-Section, FIB, SEM etc.) and problem solving technique such as 8D/ Fishbone or similar.Experience with High End optical Alignment system such as Ficontech, Amicra,  etc. is a bonus.  5+ years of experience of working with Tier 1 subcontractors for development of opto-electronic and electronic products and assembly process is preferred.  Must have knowledge of JMP Software, and Manufacturing and Data Analysis Statistics SPC & DOE.  Requires MS/BS or MS in Physic/Material Eng./EE.  Please send resume to careers@dustphotonics.com.

The Senior System SI Engineer position is responsible for the signal integrity design of DustPhotonics next generation Electro Optical solution products at data rates of 56GEth PAM4 and 112G PAM4.  The Senior System SI Engineer will perform comprehensive simulations and validations to generate design guidelines for silicon, package, connectors, lasers, ASICs and PCBs.  The Sr. System SI Engineer will also provide SI simulation models and collateral for DustPhotonics customers, will interact with cross function teams like board design, chip design and mechanical engineering, will define system/board architectures, will review the PCB layout, and will approve the reference board for tape out. 

Qualifications include a BSc. (with minimum 5 years SI experiences) or MSc. / PhD (minimum 3 years SI experience) in Electrical Engineering.  Requires a proven experiences on package and board level signal integrity, board-level system architecture, I/O structures & topologies, package, Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and layout process and methodology.  Requires experience with signal integrity modeling tools, including 3D EM modeling (Ansys HFSS, CST, ADS), experience with signal integrity analysis tools (ex: HSPICE, Sigrity tools, etc), and experience in the lab on TDR, Network analyzer, BERT scope, digital scopes, logic analyzers, and multi-meters.

The LabVIEW Developer position will work with hardware and testing engineers to specify software requirements, establish and execute test and evaluation procedures, document software including requirements, design, code, user manuals, and follow best practices for software development, archiving, and version control.  

Qualifications include expert experience at LabVIEW software with substantial experience with real-time data acquisition and instrument control. Familiarity with standard diagnostic equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers etc.), ability to analyze and resolve equipment and software issues for manufacturing is a requirement.  Prefer a Certified LabVIEW Developer with experience with database operation and experience in optical communication industry. Requires a Bachelor or Master Degree in CS, CE, EE, Physics, with 3+ years professional experience.

We are actively seeking an Experimental Silicon Photonics Physicist for design and construction of experimental and measurement systems for photonic components.  Duties include measurement and characterization of complex photonic silicon circuits including modulators, passive components, laser coupling, circuit fibers and analysis of results. 

Requirements experience in characterization of integrated optics circuits, extensive knowledge of Python, LabView, Matlab, familiarity with the production processes of photonic components.  Qualifications of a Master’s degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering in relevant fields, experience in fiber-based optical measurements, knowledge of simulations, and process knowledge.
